Today was about sun & exploring with Eamon Clear (📷 credit)! Besides the sage, oaks, and plantain plants, we strolled through tones of my favorite color of flowers! Mustard Yellow!!! Mustard plant, botanical name is in the Brassica genus with many species.
Mustard grows wild here in the central coast and carpets the hill sides with its vibrant neon color. Not only can you grind up seeds into powder for mustard seasoning, but you can eat the young leaves raw like you would in a salad. It contains many natural supplements, but is packed with over 60% vitamin C and over 30% vitamin A! Mix up your salad bowl with organic mustard greens!
